My favorite authors: Louise Erdrich, Cathie Pelletier, Anne Lamott, Barbara Kingsolver, Billie Letts, Amy Tan, Sharyn McCrumb, and Owen Parry. I LOVE Southern fiction...or movies set in the south. My available books do not necessarily reflect my reading tastes. Many I've picked up from FREE BOOKS shelves in town after seeing them languish there. Or friends give them to me to share. Besides reading and writing, I garden. I grow orchids, among other plants, and collect vintage postcards and pottery, mostly Blue Ridge.
